As a private pay and out-of-network provider, I will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected cost of services before you begin therapy or upon request.
For individual therapy, my fee is $150 per session, with a number of sliding scale spots available starting at $115 per session. The total cost of therapy will depend on the frequency and length of treatment, which we will discuss together based on your needs and goals.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the bill.

4. Mental Health Services and Scope of Practice
Peaceful Roots Counseling provides psychotherapy and related services within the scope of my professional education, training, licensure, and applicable laws.
Services may include individual therapy, couples therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, somatic approaches, EMDR, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and psychedelic preparation and integration support, as applicable.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
Peaceful Roots Counseling does not prescribe, dispense, or supply ketamine or other medications.
When KAP is provided, medication-related care is provided by an appropriately licensed medical provider. Psychotherapy and therapeutic support provided by Peaceful Roots Counseling are separate from the prescribing or dispensing of medication.
Peaceful Roots Counseling does not provide or recommend illegal substances.
5. Telehealth and Licensure
Telehealth services are provided only when legally permitted and when applicable licensure and professional requirements are satisfied.
Because laws and regulations governing the practice of psychotherapy vary by jurisdiction, availability of services may depend on the state or jurisdiction in which you are physically located at the time of service.
