What is your fee?

Please contact me directly to inquire about fees for services. I offer a sliding scale.

Do you take insurance?

I am an in-network provider with Aetna and Optum (including United Health Care, Oscar, Oxford, etc) which means, depending on your specific insurance plan, you may be able to simply pay a copay for our visits. If your insurance provider is Aetna or Optum, and you’d like to utilize your insurance, please let me know!

I am an out-of-network provider with all other insurance companies which means I take payment up front from these clients at each session. Some insurance providers may offer full or partial reimbursement for out of network services and I can provide an invoice to clients that they can submit to their insurance provider for reimbursement after each session.

I accept Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for payment and will provide you with a receipt for your insurance company.

Do you offer online therapy or in person therapy?

I offer both, we can meet online via zoom or in person in my office located centrally in Tampa.

Do you offer just talk therapy without yoga or meditation?

Yes! All sessions are tailored specifically for each individual client and their needs. Sessions may consist of talking, individualized yoga movement, breath work, or a combination of all. You are in charge of what you’d like our time together to look like.

What is mindfulness meditation?

Mindfulness meditation, sometimes called insight meditation, is one of the most popular forms of meditation today. Mindfulness meditation can be practiced formally, like in a seated meditation, or informally, like in small mindful moments throughout the day. Basically, mindfulness meditation’s purpose is to strengthen our capacity to experience things simply as they are enabling us to be more aware, present, and in control of our lives. Mindfulness meditation has been scientifically shown to promote both physical and emotional wellness when practiced even for just a few minutes on a regular basis.

What are the benefits of including yoga into therapy?

Yoga is a way in which we can learn to slow down, to really feel, and to integrate our experiences. Healing cannot simply take place in the mind, our body must also be included in our journey. Yoga addresses the interconnected processes of the mind, body, and brain. We find integration and wholeness through a practice that involves work in and with the body, like yoga.

What if I have physical limitations? Can I still do yoga?

Yes! Yoga is accessible to every BODY. If you are interested in making yoga a part of our work together we will customize yoga movement and breathing techniques for you and your body.
