Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”

Healing That Involves Both Mind and Body
Maybe you’ve noticed anxiety showing up more than you’d like. It might be tension in your shoulders, racing thoughts that won’t quiet down, or a feeling that you can’t fully relax even when you’re trying to. You might be going through a life transition, dealing with old patterns that keep resurfacing, or carrying the effects of trauma that your body hasn’t been able to process. Even when you’re managing everything on the surface, you can’t seem to calm down or feel settled.
Therapy can be a place to slow down and begin making sense of what’s happening, not just in your thoughts, but in your nervous system. Together, we’ll explore how your body holds stress and how awareness, regulation, and compassion can help you heal from the inside out.
Healing happens when we approach ourselves with curiosity instead of criticism. That’s the foundation of how we work together.
My Clinical Approach
I specialize in treating anxiety, trauma, and life transitions using a mind-body framework grounded in nervous system science. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience, I integrate approaches including:
Somatic therapy and nervous system work informed by Polyvagal Theory
Understanding how your nervous system shifts between states of safety, connection, and protection, and how to support regulation
Trauma-sensitive mindfulness and meditation
Present-moment awareness practices designed to feel safe and accessible in your body
Evidence-based modalities such as CBT and ACT
Approaches that help you shift unhelpful thought patterns and take meaningful action
Attachment-focused therapy
Understanding how early relationships shape current patterns and how to develop healthier ways of connecting
Yoga and breathwork for nervous system awareness and regulation
Body-based techniques that help you release stored tension and reconnect with yourself
I’m also a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher and Certified Mindfulness Meditation Instructor, which informs how I integrate body-based techniques safely and effectively within therapy.
Additionally, I’m trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and psychedelic integration, which I offer to established clients when appropriate. KAP combines ketamine with psychotherapy to support deeper breakthroughs in healing from depression, anxiety, and trauma.
This work is collaborative and paced carefully. We move with your nervous system, not against it. My role is to bring clinical expertise and grounded presence while helping you build a sense of internal safety and self-trust.
IN OUR WORK TOGETHER
what you can expect
You’ve begun a new chapter of your life and feel anxious and unsure of yourself. You are constantly bombarded with messages that you are not good enough, and promises that happiness is one quick fix away.
You may feel like you shouldn’t need to reach out for help, that everyone feels anxious or unsure of themselves at times. That if you just talk to your friends or family, read more self-help books, or listen to more podcasts, you’ll be able to fix whatever problem you have. You may believe therapy is for people with “real problems” and you should be able to do this on your own. Maybe you believe you don’t deserve help or that getting help is a sign of weakness. You are strong and resourceful – and you don’t have to figure everything out on our own. You not only deserve support, but as a human being, you are wired to need support to really thrive.
THERAPY CAN HELP
Research has shown that mindfulness based therapy helps people better understand their emotions, promotes flexible thinking, supports mental clarity and equanimity, improves concentration and focus, encourages self compassion, and can improve our relationships with ourselves and others.
The next step isn’t a quick fix; it’s a deeper understanding and connection with yourself, and I am here to support you on that journey.
