We live such busy lives and can often feel tired and overwhelmed. Mindfulness based therapy is about learning to slow down so that we can connect with and support ourselves.

Research has shown that mindfulness based therapy helps people better understand their emotions, promotes flexible thinking, supports mental clarity and equanimity, improves concentration and focus, encourages self compassion, and can improve our relationships with ourselves and others.

How will I have time for therapy when I am already so busy and exhausted?
Just like you would tend to a physical ailment, like a broken leg, it is equally important to address your mental and emotional well-being. Things aren’t going to get better on their own, and your mental health deserves to be as much of a priority. I also understand that life is busy and adding another appointment to your schedule could be difficult. Because of this, I offer flexible appointment scheduling based on your needs and availability. We’ll work together to make therapy work for you!
What about the cost of therapy?
Therapy is a worthwhile investment in your emotional well-being. Therapy can also be yet another expense in an expensive world and I do not take that lightly. I am here to help you and make therapy work for you in any way I can. I offer sliding scale rates to make therapy as accessible as possible.
Where do I even begin?
You’ve already begun, just by being here. Give yourself credit for that! We will work together and take things step by step. You don’t have to have everything figured out, especially all at once. Just being here is a big deal.
