ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Christie.
About Me
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, yoga teacher, and mindfulness meditation instructor. I work with people who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves and other people in their lives and are looking for a way to feel more at peace.
I believe healing happens when we approach ourselves with curiosity instead of criticism. When we start asking “why does this pattern keep showing up?” or “what am I really needing right now?” without judgment, real change becomes possible.
My Approach
My work blends Western psychotherapy with mindfulness, somatic practices, and nervous system science. Since earning my MSW, I’ve completed multiple post-graduate training programs to further develop my skills, including specialized training in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), psychedelic-assisted therapy, and polyvagal theory and nervous system regulation.
I’ve also completed over 500 hours of yoga teacher training and more than 200 hours of mindfulness meditation teacher training. These practices shape how I understand healing, not as something we force, but as something that grows when we reconnect with our bodies and learn to trust ourselves again.
This isn’t about being good at yoga or meditation. It’s about learning how your body and mind communicate, and finding practices that help you feel more grounded, open, and connected.

What We’ll Do Together
In our work together, we’ll explore what’s happening in your nervous system and why your mind and body respond the way they do. We’ll use practical tools you can bring into your daily life, and we’ll explore your experiences with curiosity and compassion.
Over time, you’ll develop a clearer understanding of your patterns, learn to regulate your nervous system, and create new ways of relating to yourself and the world around you.
You’re not broken. You’re human. Therapy is a space to uncover your true self, not to become a better self.
Honoring Roots:
Yoga, mindfulness, and psychedelic medicines are rooted in Indigenous and Eastern traditions, sacred practices that have guided healing for centuries. These practices come from the Vedic and Buddhist traditions of India and various Indigenous communities who understood the profound connection between body, mind, and spirit long before Western science began to catch up.
These traditions have shaped who I am as a therapist and as a person. I’m grateful for the healing and wisdom they’ve given me, and I share them from a place of deep respect and continued learning.
